Shifting Stigma is a community project designed to address the negative connotations surrounding recovery, KF CIC provide judgement free “pop up” style help and advice sessions, where people can access free support and gain knowledge in regard to drug and alcohol use. Delivery is across various locations throughout the Derby community using Core 20PLUS and targeting inclusion health groups. Shifting Stigma supports the community connector program by providing targeted support and health inequality provision to specified areas, working in partnership with various agencies to provide a safe space for individuals to reach out and deliver a signposted approach personalised to them
